Exhaust Stroke is a phase of the cycle of an internal-combustion engine (usually the last of four stages in a four-stroke engine) where the piston moves up the cylinder, compressing out the gasses created during the combustion stroke and push them to exit the cylinder through an exhaust valve at the top of the cylinder.
